Katie brings to re-origin a wealth of knowledge in the field of neuroplasticity and chronic condition management. Upon graduating with an Associate of Science in 2011, Katie worked in the field of Physical Therapy for seven years treating patients with chronic pain, traumatic injury, and autoimmune dysfunction. During that time, Katie learned that pain and dysfunction in the human body are not only physical, but also deeply influenced by our thoughts and behaviors.

In 2018, Katie made the transition to the coaching field, where she was able to combine her love for the human body and fascination for the human brain. She began working as a High-Performance Coach, guiding business executives, entrepreneurs, and elite athletes toward their goals by using the power of mindset and self-efficacy.

In 2020, when Katie first experienced her own life-changing health condition, she stepped back from work in order to further apply her neuroplasticity knowledge toward her healing. She has been practicing self-directed brain retraining since 2018, but when multiple medical treatments failed to provide relief, she began relying even more on her own brain. Because of brain retraining, and the support of the re-origin program, Katie can now do the things she loves again: hiking, teaching yoga, volunteering at the local animal shelter, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family (especially her dogs, Champ + Lilly).

Katie believes that her journey was meant to lead her here, to re-origin, so she could guide others with chronic conditions toward healing through the power of their own brain. She became Certified in Applied Neuroscience in early 2023, and has used her further depth of knowledge to design a unique group coaching curriculum for re-origin and its members.
